一、申请办理外国人工作许可延期

我校在聘外籍教师/专家通过学校聘期考核后，由院系中方联络人收集以下材料提交至国际合作部：

1. 续聘工作合同：甲乙双方签章，PDF文件

2. 有效工作类居留许可：PNG图片

3. 外国人工作许可证：PNG图片

国际部收到以上材料后，在系统中为外籍教师提交来华工作许可延期申请。

二、申请办理工作类居留许可延期

工作许可延期申请成功后，外籍专家/教师须持以下材料前往西安市公安局出入境管理局办理“工作类居留许可延期”（地址：雁塔区太白南路与科技路交叉口西100米,联系电话：029-86755622，029-86755625，周一至周六09：00-17：00）。

1. 两寸白底证件照一张

2. 已经办理过延期的工作许可证复印件

3. 本人有效护照原件

4. 护照首页复印件

5. 入境章复印件

6. 现持居留许可页复印件

7. 临时住宿登记表（国际部提供申请公函，外籍教师需持申请公函前往所在辖区派出所开具临时住宿登记）

8. 居留许可申请公函（国际合作部提供）

9. 外国人签证证件申请表（国际合作部提供）

家属居留许可延期办理所需材料

1. 两寸白底证件照一张

2. 本人有效护照原件

3. 护照首页复印件

4. 入境页复印件

5. 现持居留许可页复印件

6. 临时住宿登记复印件（国际部提供申请公函，家属需持申请公函前往所在辖区派出所开具临时住宿登记）

7. 居留许可申请公函（国际合作部提供）

8. 外国人签证证件申请表（国际合作部提供）

提醒：外籍专家/教师领取“工作类居留许可”后（包括新办、延期、变更、补办居留许可），请务必自居留许可签发日起48小时之内持国际合作部开具的公函前往居住地辖区派出所进行临时住宿登记二次登记手续，未在规定时间内完成二次登记手续者，将被公安局处以两千元以下罚款。如果居住地发生变化，仍须再次进行临时住宿登记。

Extension of Foreigner's Work Permit and Residence Permit

I. Application for Extension of Foreigner's Work Permit

After foreign teachers/experts passed the university's tenure assessment, the Chinese contact person of the school will collect the following materials and submit them to the Office of International Cooperation:

1. Renewal Contract: signed by both parties, PDF file

2. Valid Residence Permit: PNG image

3. Foreigner’s Work Permit: PNG image

After receiving the above materials, Office of International Cooperation will submit the application for extension of Foreigner’s Work Permit.

II. Application for Extension of Work Type Residence Permit

After the successful application for extension of the Work Permit, foreign experts/teachers shall go to the Exit-Entry Administration of Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau with the following documents to apply for extension of Work Type Residence Permit (Address: 100 metres west of the intersection of South Taibai Road and Science and Technology Road in Yanta District, Tel: 029-86755622, 029-86755625, Monday-Saturday 09:00-17:00)

1. One two-inch white background ID photo

2. A copy of the Work Permit that has been extended

3. Original valid passport

4. A copy of the first page of the passport

5. A copy of the entry stamp

6. A copy of the page of the current Residence Permit

7. Registration of Temporary Accommodation (Office of International Cooperation will provide the official letter, and the foreign teacher has to go to the police station of his/her district with the official letter to issue the Registration of Temporary Accommodation).

8. Official letter of application for Residence Permit (provided by the Office of International Cooperation)

9. Application form for foreigner's visa (provided by the Office of International Cooperation)

Application for Extension of Family Members' Residence Permit

1. A two-inch photo with white background

2. Original valid passport

3. A copy of the first page of the passport

4. A copy of the entry page

5. A copy of the page of the current Residence Permit

6. Registration of Temporary Accommodation (Office of International Cooperation will provide the official letter, and the foreign teacher has to go to the police station of his/her district with the official letter to issue the Registration of Temporary Accommodation).

8. Official letter of application for Residence Permit (provided by the Office of International Cooperation)

9. Application form for foreigner's visa (provided by the Office of International Cooperation)

Please note that after foreign experts/teachers and his/her family members receive the new/ extended/ renewed/replaced Residence Permit, they must go to the police station in the jurisdiction where they reside to make a second Registration of Temporary Accommodation with the official letter issued by the Office of International Cooperation within 48 hours from the date of issuance of the Residence Permit. Failure to complete the secondary registration procedure within the stipulated time will result in a fine of up to 2,000 RMB. If there is a change in the place of residence, it is still necessary to register for temporary accommodation again.
